What exists is linked. What does not exist is marked in preparation with the reason it is not ready. There are no download buttons pointing at placeholder files, and there are no specification sheets fabricated to fill a gap.

Palisaro does not currently hold or publish test ratings, certifications or warranty terms for any configuration on this site. A project that requires a rated system or specific warranty coverage should raise it before quoting.

A quote turns around at the speed of the information attached to it. These are the fields that make the difference.

03Site considerations

The conditions that change a fence project.

Six things that decide how a fence goes in, and how much it costs to put there. Each one is far cheaper to raise during quoting than to discover during installation.

Grade change
Sloped ground is handled either by stepping panels or by racking them, and not every system can rack. Where a run crosses a grade change, the approach affects panel count, post height and how the fence line looks. Record grade change during measurement, not during installation.

Frost depth and footings
Footing depth in Ontario is governed by local frost depth, soil conditions and the loads the fence carries. It is a site-specific determination. Taller panels, solid screening and gate posts all increase what the footing has to do.

Locates and buried services
Underground locates are required before any post hole is dug. On private property, privately owned services — irrigation, low-voltage lighting, private gas runs — are frequently not covered by a public locate and need to be identified by the owner.

Property lines and by-laws
Fence height limits, setbacks, corner visibility triangles and pool enclosure rules are municipal and vary across Ontario. Confirming the governing requirements is the property owner's responsibility, and it is worth doing before ordering rather than after.

Winter conditions
Snow clearing damages fence lines near driveways and walkways. Drop-rod sockets fill with ice. Gates that swing over a surface that heaves will bind. These are predictable and can be designed around if raised early.

Wind loading on solid panels
Louvre and privacy panels carry substantially more wind load than open picket fence of the same height. Post section, embedment and spacing must be sized for the panel area rather than carried over from a picket layout.

If your project needs documentation to proceed

Some projects cannot move without a dimensioned drawing, a coating specification or a stamped footing detail. Say so on the quote request. It will be answered directly rather than deflected, including where the answer is that the document does not exist yet and what would be needed to produce it.
