Panel width and post spacing are different numbers. Post spacing is what gets set out on site, and it follows panel width plus the post section.

Installation considerations

What tends to decide whether this system goes in cleanly. These apply whether Palisaro installs it or you do.

  • 01

    A cantilever gate needs run-back space behind the opening roughly equal to half the clear opening again. If that space is not available, the gate type has to change.

  • 02

    The sliding path must stay clear and reasonably level. Grade change along the run is a common cause of failure.

  • 03

    Where the gate will be automated, the operator, safety devices and electrical supply are coordinated by others. Palisaro's scope is the gate and its preparation unless agreed otherwise.
